About the project

Looking, observing, telling stories – with my photgraphy from iceland I want to capture
my story about the country that fascinates and moves me in such an undescribable way.
Elves are dancing, trolls are having fun. Since I was a little girl I always wanted to visit
iceland. Years later I fulfilled my dream.
On a photography trip 2007 I finally discovered the island. I was captivated by the magic
of its nature and its bizarre people so that 2008 I decided to start my own iceland project
and set of for six month to live on the island – time enough to catch more than a first impression. As a journalist and photographer I want to tell stories.
